Our new client is looking for a IT Data Center Engineer to join its new team in Porto.

Description

• Build and operation of a hybrid data center (DC) infrastructure (private and public cloud);
• Work within a global team to develop and shape DC services based on hyperconverged IT infrastructure technologies (VCE, V-Block);
• Manage day-to-day data center operations, automate routine parts and follow-up on DC events;
• Operate in a global team and ensure high level of service quality;
• Elevate data center set-up to the next level by applying state-of-the art technologies;
• Take end to end accountability and keep up a high pace in a complex environment.

Profile

• Degree in engineering / computer science or an international equivalent;
• First professional experience in data center build and/or operations;
• Sound knowledge in the area of Hyperconverged Infrastructure (VCE), VMware, vSphere, Unity and Isilon Storage technologies;
• Good team player with high level of integrity and strong communication skills;
• Ability to work in a fast changing environment;
• Willingness to take responsibility and a "get it done" mentality;
